Seanine Joyce is a London-based composer and orchestrator for film and television, contemporary dance and the concert platform.


Dec 2012 Seanine founds Sound Futures (www.soundfutures.co.uk)
2010 - present Continues delivering music-led family learning courses funded from various local council and charitable trusts.
Dec 2011 Completes PTLLS teaching certificate.
Aug 2011 Completes Masters in Music Composition (Creative Practice) at Goldsmiths, University of London
Jul 2010 Completes (Yr 1) Certificate in Community Music at Goldsmiths, University of London
Feb 2010 Starts teaching Music for Film courses at City Lit, SPACE studios and SAE (School of Audio Engineering)
Jul 2009 Founds Hackney-based not-for-profit organisation now known as Sound Futures Society delivering music-led courses to disadvantaged families in East London.
May 2009 Composed the theme music for Sony Play Station Game Eye-Pet

May 2008 Composed theme to Tetra Pak’s international news programme.
Feb 2008 Invited by BAFTA to sit on the jury for the Original Television Music category for the British Academy Television Craft Awards.
Feb 2008 Visit to Cambodia as part of a fundraising effort to support the preservation of traditional music.
Dec 2007 Orchestrated on “BROKEN LINES” feature starring Paul Bettany.
Nov 2007 Orchestrated on “BALLET SHOES” starring Emma Watson and Victoria Wood, and “THE COTTAGE”, a comic horror film by Paul Andrew Williams (director of “London To Brighton”).
July 2007 “Oh Happy Day” goes to L.A. for the Outfest.
June 2007 The romantic comedy “Oh Happy Day” receives a warm response at the New York Film Festival
May 2007 BAFTASeanine is privileged to become a member of the UK’s prestigious BAFTA.
May 2007 Orchestrated for Craig Armstrong on Shekhar Kapur’s “The Golden Age” to be released in November 2007.
April 2007 The score for the horror film “Severance” which I co-orchestrated with the composer Christian Henson was nominated for Best Original Film Score at the 2007 Ivor Novello Awards alongside David Arnold for “Casino Royale” and John Powell for “Ice Age The Meltdown”. Congratulations Christian!
26 March 2007 “Oh Happy Day” has its first screening at the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.
